ダンビュライト / Danburite

Danburite

Danburite is a relatively new mineral discovered in the United States in 1839. It is a rare stone that is only known to a few people, and is not widely available due to its low production volume.
It has the hardness of tourmaline and the crystal form of topaz, and gem-quality stones have an elegant shine that seems to capture the essence of a clear lake, and they have even been used as a substitute for diamonds.
Danburite has sometimes been seen to age to a gentle, milky glow, and this antique-like change is considered one of its charms.
